About

I'm a creative and caring person with a lot of time on my hands.

One year I decided to mail cards to every one of my friends and relatives (over 100 on my list)!

So, instead of buying cards from the store, I invested in some cardstock, adhesive, pens, stamps and die cuts, and the list of supplies continued from there  (stencils, embossing folders and more!)

I grabbed my family tree and my address book and began complying a calendar of everyone's birthday's, anniversary's and even started a record of significant events (weddings, births, graduations, new jobs, moves, congratulations, even get well soon and condolences cards were added to the list.)

And those were just the occasional cards, there were also holiday cards to create, assemble and mass distribute as well.

Needless to say I learned a lot in the process, by practicing new techniques.  I moved on from cards to mixed media, scrapbooks, watercolor, acrylic and so much more.

I watch a lot of  YouTube videos from demonstrations to storing supplies.

Over time, I began selling and donating my crafts as well. And now I am prepared to bring those basic skills to my community to spark creativity and comradery amongst my fellow crafters.

I welcome you to the crafting community.  You will find many groups on social media and others doing this for a hobby or profession.  It's a great outlet for mental health and socialization.

You're invited to attend one of my workshops or hold one of your own.  Please contact me for more details.  Visit my calendar page for upcoming workshops in the East Orlando and Oviedo area (Florida, USA).
